The S.E.A. Leaders Junior Program is designed to equip young individuals with essential skills like authentic leadership, emotional intelligence, soft skills, and social media etiquette. Aligned with the S.E.A. Leaders Training Institute’s mission, the program empowers youth to thrive personally and professionally by fostering excellence in service and adaptive leadership, ensuring they are prepared for success in today’s world. This comprehensive development supports our goal of building a community rooted in strong, authentic leadership and service.

Authentic Leadership

Encourages youth to lead with integrity and stay true to their values, inspiring others through genuine actions and decision-making that reflects who they are.

Emotional Intelligence

Teaches students to understand and manage their own emotions while empathizing with others, improving communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.

Soft Skills

Focuses on interpersonal skills such as effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration, which are critical for building strong relationships and thriving in any setting.

The Program Agenda

Week 1: Introduction & Authentic Leadership

  • Objective: Understand the foundations of authentic leadership.

  • Activities: Group discussions on personal values, leadership styles, role models, and leadership exercises to apply authentic decision-making.

Week 2: Emotional Intelligence - Self-awareness

  • Objective: Learn to identify and understand personal emotions.

  • Activities: Self-reflection exercises, journaling, and discussions on emotional triggers and managing reactions.

Week 3: Emotional Intelligence - Empathy & Social Skills

  • Objective: Develop empathy and improve social interactions.

  • Activities: Role-playing scenarios, group projects, and active listening exercises to foster understanding and collaboration.

Week 4: Soft Skills - Communication & Problem-solving

  • Objective: Build strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Activities: Team debates, mock interviews, and real-life problem-solving challenges to practice effective communication techniques.

Week 5: Soft Skills - Adaptability & Teamwork

  • Objective: Strengthen adaptability in dynamic environments and teamwork skills.

  • Activities: Team-building exercises, adaptability case studies, and group reflections on overcoming challenges.

Week 6: Social Media Etiquette & Program Wrap-Up

  • Objective: Learn responsible social media usage and reflect on the program.

  • Activities: Social media do's and don'ts, creating a positive online presence, and a final project showcasing what students learned, followed by a graduation event.
